I am using a Dell Dimensions PC with 2.4Mhz Dual Core and 2GB Ram and Vista Home Premium. I have recently installed a Pinnacle PCTV DVB-T PCI card. *The start page of MCE does not show a TV option nor does the setting page*. I can get to prompt for TV setup but it tells me that there is TV card to be found.

As a Telewest subscriber without a normal ariel, this is a right pain. They want to sell you their TV drive box with its own PVR functionality.

I returned the Pinnacle PCTV PCI DVB-T card and got a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T 500 instead. It take a fraction of a second to switch channels (instead of up to 20 seconds), This delay has been OK with my UK Digital Freeview box but now that I’m using MCE2005 on a Sony XL202 I sometimes get a “No TV Signal” error.
